Here's one you don't see every day. This 2005 Dodge Ram SRT-10 Quad Cab Yellow Fever Edition is number 469 of only 500 Yellow Fever trucks produced, has been with the same owner since new, has a clean accident-free history and has traveled just under 39,000 original miles. Finished in unmistakable Solar Yellow with the Yellow Fever-specific black hood treatment and premium two-tone interior, this is one of the most distinctive versions of Dodge's legendary Viper-powered pickup. Under the hood is the heart of what made the SRT-10 so outrageous in the first place—the 8.3-liter Viper V10 producing 500 horsepower and 525 lb-ft of torque, backed in the Quad Cab by a 4-speed automatic transmission. These trucks were ridiculous when Dodge built them more than 20 years ago, and time hasn't made them any less impressive. The Yellow Fever Edition was a $2,500 factory package and included the premium two-tone interior, embroidered floor mats, fanged hood stripe and massive polished 22x10-inch aluminum wheels. This truck still wears all of those signature pieces and is identified as Yellow Fever #469/500 on the factory serialized dash plaque. Its original window sticker shows a total price of $53,090 when new. For a 21-year-old performance truck with nearly 39,000 miles, the condition is exceptional. The Solar Yellow paint retains a beautiful shine, the body is straight and the polished 22-inch wheels present extremely well. Like any vehicle that has actually been driven, there are a few minor nicks, scratches and signs of age, but nothing that takes away from the overall appearance of this truck. This is not a restored showpiece—it is a remarkably well-preserved original example. Inside, the Yellow Fever-specific premium interior remains equally impressive. The black leather and suede seating with contrasting yellow stitching and embroidered SRT-10 logos shows only normal light wear, while the dash, carpeting, controls and trim have been exceptionally well cared for. The factory oil-temperature gauge, Yellow Fever serialized dash plaque and yellow interior accents are all still in place. This SRT-10 has spent its life in Ohio, which makes the condition underneath particularly impressive. The frame, floors and structural areas remain remarkably clean and solid, with only the type of light age-related surface oxidation you would expect on some components after more than two decades. We have included detailed undercarriage photographs because the underside of this truck is something worth seeing. The truck remains largely original with only a few tasteful additions. It has a K&N cold-air intake, aftermarket chrome step bars and an aftermarket tonneau cover. We do not have the original air intake. Otherwise, it remains much as it left Dodge and has clearly been cared for throughout its life. It also comes with the things we always like to find with a special vehicle: original window sticker, owner's manuals and books, multiple keys and remotes, floor mats and additional original documentation. The Ram SRT-10 was one of those vehicles that probably could only have happened once—a full-size pickup with the engine from a Dodge Viper stuffed under the hood, huge brakes, 22-inch wheels and styling that made absolutely no attempt to hide what it was. The Yellow Fever Edition took an already outrageous truck and made it even harder to miss. With one-owner history, no accidents, just under 39,000 original miles and Yellow Fever serial number 469 of 500, this is an exceptionally clean example of one of Dodge's wildest performance vehicles. They didn't build many SRT-10s to begin with. They only built 500 Yellow Fevers.
