This spectacular 2010 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor is the first vehicle we are offering from an incredible 17-car private collection recently acquired by Mashburn Motors, and we couldn't think of a better one to start with. Finished in stunning Tuxedo Black Metallic, this Raptor has traveled just 24,323 original miles, has had only two owners from new and is backed by a perfect, accident-free Carfax history. The condition and preservation of this truck are simply remarkable, especially considering what these Raptors were originally built to do. Making this one even more special is the highly desirable 6.2-liter V8, the late-availability powerhouse offered during the Raptor's inaugural 2010 model year. Producing 411 horsepower and 434 lb-ft of torque, the 6.2 transformed Ford's groundbreaking off-road truck and remains the engine enthusiasts want in these first-year examples. If you know early Raptors, however, you know that mileage is only part of the story. These trucks were built to be used, and most of them were. They were driven hard, modified, lifted, tuned, taken off-road, exposed to winters and accumulated serious mileage. Somehow, this one escaped virtually all of that. The Tuxedo Black Metallic exterior is absolutely gorgeous, with a deep, mirror-like finish and a remarkably straight body. The Raptor-specific gray fender flares, aggressive front fascia, SVT identification and factory 17-inch wheels give it the unmistakable appearance that made the original Raptor an instant icon. Open the door and the preservation continues. The Raptor-specific interior is exceptional, from the seats and carpeting to the steering wheel, console, controls and trim, showing remarkably little evidence of its 16 years. This one was also very nicely equipped with the Luxury Package, factory navigation, power moonroof, heated power seating, SYNC, auxiliary switches, Off-Road Mode, hill-descent control and all of the specialized SVT equipment that separated the Raptor from an ordinary F-150. As impressive as the body and interior are, take a look underneath this truck because that may tell its story better than anything else. The undercarriage is outstanding, with factory identification labels and markings still clearly visible, an exceptionally clean frame and chassis, and its unmistakable SVT/Fox internal-bypass reservoir shocks still in place. We intentionally photographed the underside exactly as it sits because this isn't a truck that has been cosmetically restored underneath to make it look impressive. It has simply been incredibly well preserved, and those are two very different things. Collectors will also appreciate that this Raptor is accompanied by its original window sticker, owner's literature, Ford pouch and multiple factory keys and remotes. The original SVT Raptor was a landmark vehicle that essentially created an entirely new category of factory-built high-performance off-road trucks. Plenty of manufacturers have followed the formula since, but there will only ever be one original. As these first-generation Raptors continue to age, the truly exceptional, low-mileage and highly original survivors are becoming increasingly difficult to find.
